However, many lack the ability to obtain the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment, and other resources needed to do their jobs competently or to a greater capacity. Join us for this lightning round session to hear replicable examples from IPA members who are bringing local nonprofits to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, so they may more effectively advance their mission into the future.
Trust-Based Philanthropy is being embraced by a growing number of foundations and social investors as a way to alleviate power imbalances between funders and those they support while fostering more productive and informative relationships. Driven by the central philosophy that funders should approach grantee relationships as learning partnerships, a trust-based approach encourages multi-year unrestricted funding, streamlined reporting, and transparent and responsive communication.
