Purdue Extension is pleased to offer Navigating Difference, an intensive cultural competency training, on March 11-13, 2025. This is a professional development workshop for those who work across diversity in communities and want to improve their intercultural effectiveness. (It is not a train-the-trainer to learn to teach the program to others.)
The 3-day workshop will be held at the Columbus Learning Center, Summerville Room, 4555 Central Avenue, Columbus, IN 47203.
Workshop dates and times are:
• Tuesday, March 11, 2025, 10:00 am-5:00 pm Eastern, with homework in the evening
• Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 8:30 am-5:00 pm Eastern, with homework in the evening
• Thursday, March 13, 2025, 8:30 am-3:00 pm Eastern
The cost of the workshop includes lunch for all three days and all materials and instruction for $450. The registration fee does not include lodging. Please make your hotel reservations separately with the Hampton Inn Columbus/Taylorsville/Edinburgh, 12161 North US 31, Edinburgh, Indiana 46124. Reservations need to be made no later than Monday, February 24, 2025, by calling 812-526-5100 and pressing Option 0 to book directly with the front desk or online at Navigating Difference Online Booking Link. We have a block reserved for single King and double Queen rooms for $109.00 plus tax and fees per night. Use group code NAV to receive the group rate.
Space is limited. Once capacity is reached, registration for the workshop will be closed, and a waitlist will be started.
