Dubois County Girl Scouts Raise Money for Endowment

Monday, April 8, 2019

Local Girl Scout Cadette Troop 357 hosted a skate party on March 9 at the Jasper Skate Palace and raised funds for their endowment. The Troop 357 Cadettes raised $305 from the event for the Dubois County Girl Scout Endowment held by Dubois County Community Foundation.

“It was our wish for every Girl Scout who attended the skate party to have a way to give back to the Girl Scout Endowment for future Girl Scouts,” said Rachel Hollinden, Girl Scout Troup 357 Cadette.

The skate party was for all Dubois County Girl Scouts from both the North and South Dubois County Girl Scout Service Units.

The Troop 357 Cadettes have benefited from the Dubois County Girl Scout endowment grants for their Bronze Award Project, their trip to Savannah GA, birthplace of Juliet Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts, and 2 Silver Award Projects.
