Community Foundation Basics

While open to audiences from all states, this training includes specific content relevant to Indiana community foundations from IPA's GIFT team. Out-of-state foundations are encouraged to join IPA's National CF Boot Camps found here. Additional events will be added throughout the year or you may request personalized training.
Community Foundation Basics is an accelerated training for community foundation board members and staff. This training provides a high-level overview of the structure and operations of a community foundation. We're offering this workshop virtually to make the training more accessible, so that people can join from across the state to learn more about the community foundation field.

The virtual Community Foundation Basics program is designed for community foundation board members and staff who want a high-level overview of all elements of this field. For a more comprehensive training, we encourage staff members to join us for our in-person Community Foundation Boot Camp in November 2023, which will spend more time on each topic to discuss details.
