Indiana, like the rest of the country, has a mental health epidemic that the COVID-19 pandemic only made worse. One in four Hoosiers suffer from some form of mental health disorder (nationally it is one in five). The need is huge and philanthropy is engaging more than ever in the fight for treatment and prevention. Join a fireside chat with Governor Eric Holcomb and Kalen Jackson, Indianapolis Colts vice chair and owner, as they talk about how the team and the Irsay family are dedicating their resources to attack the mental health disorder epidemic, as well as efforts by the State of Indiana to meet the rising need.
During the chat, moderated by IPA CEO Claudia Cummings, Jackson will discuss her family's personal connection with mental health challenges and Colts’ Kicking the Stigma initiative, which includes a national awareness campaign and a fund to provide grants to nonprofits working in education, support, and advocacy of mental health.
