OCRA's Regional Capacity Building Workshops

Thursday, September 20, 2018

The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs is launching regional capacity building workshops to assist communities interested in preparing for the Stellar Communities Program.

The program is designed for community leaders who are looking to build relationships within the region that surrounds them. Any size of an incorporated Indiana community that is not entitled to direct Community Development Block Grant funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is eligible to participate in these workshops. Communities are asked to register between two and eight people for the entire series.

The series continues with the first workshop for northern regions on Sept. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m in Peru, Indiana.  Interested communities can register online by Thursday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. (ET). See the full schedule and learn more information at www.in.gov/ocra/2938.htm.

If you have any questions pertaining to team size, commitment or other reservations, we encourage you to contact Michael Sinnet at (463) 201-3939 or msinnet@ocra.in.gov.
