Mainstream Fiber Networks Provides Free Public Wi-Fi Locations in Harrison County

Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Mainstream Fiber Networks (MSFN) is moving quickly to help the Harrison County community. MSFN is providing free public Wi-Fi in the parking lot of the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) located at 1523 Foundation Way NE in Corydon. The free public Wi-Fi will help students utilizing e-learning and members of the community who may be filing for unemployment, working remotely or have another need to access the internet.   There is also public Wi-Fi available in the MSFN Regional Office parking lot, located at 2370 Landmark Way NE in Corydon.

“During this challenging time, we want to make sure our friends and neighbors in Harrison County have access to broadband when they need it most,” said Bryan Gabriel, founder and CEO of Mainstream Fiber Networks. “These public Wi-Fi access points will allow students to continue e-learning, employees to stay connected with their workplace, and families to remain in touch with loved ones.”

To access free public Wi-Fi in the HCCF parking lot, users will be required to click and agree to the terms of agreement. No password will be required.  As an important reminder, continue to practice safe social distancing if accessing public Wi-Fi in the parking lot.

Julie Moorman, President and CEO of HCCF said, "We are so appreciative of our partnership with Mainstream Fiber Networks and their commitment to Harrison County. By providing free public Wi-Fi space for our students and for families, MSFN has shown their continued commitment to Harrison County. In tough times like these, it is so important for us to come together with resources. Thanks to MSFN for their support."
