The Director of Philanthropy creates and oversees a strategic approach to all fundraising, focused on managing and building existing donor relationships and on identifying and cultivating prospective donor relationships. The position is responsible for all development efforts at The Community Foundation for McHenry County (CFMC), including all fundraising, donor relations and donor services, as well as marketing and communications. This position will work closely with the Executive Director and the Development Committee of the Board of Directors to ensure their understanding of The Foundation’s policies and strategic initiatives and direction.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week to be regularly scheduled on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with flexible hours on required meeting/event days. Full benefits.
