Fireside Chat

One in five U.S. adults—including one in four Hoosiers—suffer from some form of mental health disorder. The need is huge and philanthropy is engaging more than ever in the fight for awareness, treatment, and prevention. Join a fireside chat with Gov. Holcomb and Kalen Jackson, Indianapolis Colts vice chair and owner, for a conversation on how the team and the Irsay family are dedicating their resources to attack the mental health disorder epidemic and efforts by the Indiana Roundtable on Mental Health.

During the chat, moderated by IPA CEO Claudia Cummings, Jackson will discuss her family's personal connection with mental health challenges and the Colts’ Kicking the Stigma initiative, which includes a national awareness campaign and a fund to provide grants to nonprofits working in education, support, and advocacy of mental health. Jackson’s civic engagement will also be highlighted, including her participation in the Indiana Roundtable on Mental Health, which is co-chaired by former Eli Lilly CEO John Lechleiter and Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch.
