During this Health Affinity Group lunch and learn, we will hear from Indiana University Health Foundation about their latest community engagement and impact strategies.

As IU Health continues to work toward its vision of making Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation, the organization must look beyond the walls of its hospitals and medical offices to address those social, economic, and environmental conditions that contribute to poor health outcomes, shortened lives, and higher healthcare costs. Jami Marsh will share the vision for IU Health Foundation’s investment into community health for Indiana. Brenda Biggs will share how community health is a priority for non-profit mission-driven health systems through federal regulations and investments in community benefit.

Speakers

  • Jami Marsh, Executive Director, Philanthropy IU Health Foundation
  • Brenda Chamness Biggs, Manager, Community Benefit, IU Health
