GIFT Spring Boot Camp
Boot Camp is an extensive two-day workshop for Indiana community foundation staff and board members. The purpose of Boot Camp is to provide an overview of the structure and operations of a community foundation. Boot Camp covers eight topics and takes twelve hours to complete. Topics include:
- Community Foundation Overview
- Fund Management
- Asset Development
- Finance and Investments
- Grantmaking and Community Leadership
- Operational Sustainability
- Community Foundation Lifecycles
$50.00 per person and includes meals, snacks and materials for both days.
Any community foundation staff or board member is encouraged to attend. It is essential for new staff members but experienced staff also gain a new perspective from the Boot Camp experience. If you are in the process of hiring a new staff member and would like to register them before you have made the actual hire, we can do that. Just contact Belinda Scholl at firstname.lastname@example.org or 317.630.5200, ext. 129 and she can take care of it for you.
Space is limited so register early! Registration deadline is April 12, 2017 at 5:00 pm unless we reach capacity before that time.
NEW EMPLOYEE/BOARD MEMBER REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to registering a new employee or board member (who has not yet attended a GIFT event), you must send their name, title and email address to Belinda Scholl (email@example.com) so they can be added to the database.
