Your zip code should not determine how well you live or your future success.

Every community in Indiana has the potential to thrive. Learn cross-sector strategies to improve trends in education, workforce development, place-making, and general well-being by registering for the IPA Regional Forums on Growing Healthy Communities.

IPA’s five regional forums connect local leaders in locations across Indiana. Facilitated by Health by Design, participants will learn socioeconomic factors affecting their communities and explore cross-sector opportunities to improve outcomes.

Each forum addresses the fact that where we live is far more influential than our genetic code in determining how long and how well we live. Field experts and local service providers will explore the social determinants of health (education, income, social support) and policy, systems, and environmental change strategies. Attendees will learn about regional initiatives centered on workforce development, nutrition, and substance abuse prevention. An action planning workshop will help funders consider ways to shift their thinking, program activities, and investments proactively to support healthy and thriving communities with lasting impact.

Cost/Who Can Attend

  • $65 for IPA members and their guests
  • $95 for non-member grantmakers and philanthropic decision-makers
