Boot Camp is an extensive two-day workshop for community foundation staff and board members.  The purpose is to provide an overview of the structure and operations of a community foundation. 

Boot Camp covers eight topics and takes twelve hours to complete. Topics include:

  • Community Foundation Overview
  • Governance
  • Fund Management
  • Asset Development
  • Finance and Investments
  • Grantmaking and Community Leadership
  • Operational Sustainability
  • Community Foundation Lifecycles

Target Audience:

This program is open to IPA members and non-members. The program is designed for community foundation board and staff members.

Cost

Indiana community foundation board and staff – $65 per person
Other states – $500 per person

Registration

Please register by 04/19/18. Registration fee includes lunch, snacks, and materials for both days. Registration, exclusively for Indiana community foundations, is open until February 17, 2018.  After that date, registration will be open to Indiana and other states until the April 19, 2018, deadline.
